About the Opportunity
The District of Lake Country has an exciting opportunity for a casual Engineering Technical Clerk based in Lake Country, BC.

Reporting to the Director of Engineering and Environmental Services, you will be responsible for providing technical administrative support.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to performing technical administrative support relating to engineering files, applications, permits, agreements and legal documents, as well as, research assistance, analysis and reports.

More About You
To qualify for this role, you must have a minimum of six years’ work experience in local government, with at least three of those years in Engineering and two years towards a college diploma in business administration or related field.

As our ideal candidate, you have knowledge of land use legislation and the ability to read and understand maps, sketches and plans. In addition, you have strong communication, research, and time management skills.

Above all, we value a collaborative attitude, ability to foster positive working relationships and tactfully conveying information.

About the Benefits

  • You will receive a competitive salary of $34.93 per hour;
